In connection with the distribution of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to point out the following to you: As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and must collect them separately from unsorted municipal waste. Please make sure to use sufficient postage.
If you have old devices with old batteries or old accumulators that are not enclosed in the old device, you must separate them from the device before handing them over to a collection point. This does not apply if the old devices are separated from other old devices by the public waste disposal authorities for the purpose of preparing them for reuse in order to prepare them for reuse.
Batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines the classification as containing pollutants.
